On to resilient and successful prospective creatives!

Another great meeting today with the Creatives Academy partners! We shared insights into the needs of creative professionals’ and prospective artists’ futures and planned next steps in our Erasmus+ project.

When a crisis hits, governments are often quick to cut creative and cultural budgets…. And secondary schools have long been under pressure to focus on core subjects, resulting in schools being
forced to reduce, and even cut, creative and cultural subjects from their curriculum.

Creatives Academy aims to contribute to a resilient recovery in the cultural and creative sectors post-covid by sharpening creative and entrepreneurial skills; provide students with high quality encounters with creative professionals to provide information and mentoring on both industry knowledge and transversal entrepreneurial thinking and skills; help schools and educators develop the knowledge and confidence for embedding these practices in their educational setting.
