Project Description

The CommUnity project seeks to address social and economic inequalities by empowering local communities through sustainable growth. Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 8, 10, and 11) and key EU strategies like the

European Pillar of Social Rights and the European Skills Agenda, the project focuses on upskilling adults, particularly small business owners, in countries such as Belgium, Norway, Italy, Poland, and Lithuania. By providing flexible, high-quality adult education, CommEUnity promotes social inclusion, economic resilience, and sustainable business practices. Supporting SMEs—the backbone of the European economy—this initiative strengthens local economies, reduces disparities, and fosters lifelong learning. Funding CommEUnity will contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable future for communities across Europe.

Project Results

Activity 1 – Training Platform and Interactive Digital Map

Activity 2 – Training Program for Local Adult People

Impact

To measure progress, CommUnity will track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as participant engagement in training programs, business growth, and economic well-being improvements through surveys and stakeholder feedback. Data collection will include pre- and post-training assessments, focus groups, and interviews with local business owners. Project management tools like Asana or Trello will ensure efficient tracking of tasks and deliverables, with regular progress reports shared among partners. The project will reach 10,000 people via social media, publish six articles on European platforms, and release three newsletters. It will include a sustainability plan and adhere to Erasmus+ branding guidelines. Special attention will be given to accessibility, including strategies for adults with ADHD, and careful color selection for materials.
