From research to practice: PeerCollab Peer Assessment Kits
Within PeerCollab, we have developed a structured set of Peer Assessment educational materials for lecturers, designed to support real classroom implementation, not just conceptual understanding.
The materials are organised into nine Peer Assessment Kits (+ supporting matrices), each tailored to different:
– teaching scenarios (face-to-face, online, blended)
– interaction formats (individual, pair, group)
– levels of student autonomy and engagement
Each kit includes:
– clear pedagogical guidance for lecturers
– ready-to-use observation and feedback templates
– a concrete example of classroom or online application
A key design principle is flexibility: lecturers can select, adapt, and combine kits according to learning outcomes, class size, and student profiles, rather than following a rigid sequence.
These materials aim to make peer assessment usable, structured, and pedagogically sound in everyday higher education teaching.
