The “Mothers Looking Ahead” project conducted a series of in-depth interviews with mothers across five countries: Slovakia, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, and Belgium, between January and March 2024. These interviews aimed to explore their professional experiences, challenges, and aspirations, providing a comprehensive understanding of how motherhood influences career trajectories and the strategies employed by mothers to balance professional and familial responsibilities.
